Columbus, Ohio (September 19, 2016) – Rockhill Insurance Group, a member of the State Auto Insurance Group, announced today it has hired Tracy Upton, a 30-year insurance veteran with a specialization in startup programs and operations, to lead its new E&S property unit. Upton comes to Rockhill from Everest National, where he successfully established and led its wholesale property operations over the past 10 years. He was previously a foundational leader of the E&S property and inland marine division of Colony Insurance Group, and successfully developed the urban revitalization building and neighborhood program at the St. Paul Companies. At St. Paul, Upton received an Inland Marine Underwriters Association national award. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Upton is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster.
